Gonsiorek Family | Chicago Family Photographer

I am oh-so-very behind with posting sessions, so I'll be playing catch up the next few weeks I think!  This is from a quick and fun little session in Chicago last September (man I'm missing that weather right about now - ready for the rain to be over, you?) with the extended Gonsiorek Family.  Looking forward to May when I can - hopefully - sneak back out to Chicago for my nephew's first birthday and possibly squeeze in another session with this family and their quickly growing baby girl!  This was my second session with cutie-pie Gwen and her parents and it was fun to see her crawling (though she's sped right through to walking now!) and to catch some awesome little moments with her grandparents and aunt and uncles!

Another session from my last trip to Chicago.  What a super cute little guy!  He got to play mini-Babe Ruth in a quick session at Mt Greenwood Park.  More to come when I post the full session slideshow!  

It, of course, was a beautiful day!  (Much better than we've been having here in Washington lately!)

Sneak Peek: Sands Family

I was loving these while I was working on this session, so I had to share a quick peek.

Evan, 1 month old!

I'm in Chicago for a few weeks to meet my nephew Evan.  He just had his first photo shoot with Auntie Katie and he's a pro already!  He's got some red red hair and a lot of it...and such great expressions.

Sneak Peak: Walker's 1st Birthday Party

Walker's almost 1!

Walker's birthday is about a week away, so Jamie had me take some pictures a couple of days ago for the party invitation. Of course, I took way more than a couple. Can't help it. The kid's just too darn cute. Here's a few of my favorites...

My nephew is flippin' hysterical...

...he's getting his front two teeth and just started making this face and blowing out of his nose this past week.  

It is entirely too cute, although I don't think he intends it that way!

Nugget brings the Santa just a little early...

    

Now, if only he could figure out how to flip back over...

Walker says, "Hey there.  Did you know I can roll over now?"

 

"Yep, it's pretty awesome."

 

*thinking about how awesome it is*

"It takes a lot of muscle...Grandma says I look like a baby klingon."

"I don't know what she means."

"I'll have to think on it some more."

...and for the world at large needing their Walker fix...

You can already tell this is going to be his "I didn't do it.  Can I have another cookie?  You know you love me!" face...and Auntie Katie is probably going to fall for it.  Check back later this week for Nugget's first time in the mini swimming pool.
